DECERNS = Decision Evaluation in ComplEx Risk Network Systems

The objective of the DECERNS project is creation of methods and software tools that provide decision support on multicriteria analysis of [spatial] alternatives, including land use planning and management, environmental protection, location problems, etc..

DECERNS is funded through the ISTC project #3549.

The following works are carried out within the DECERNS project:

• Development of the DECERNS WebSDSS as an original multi-criteria Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS), including:
• MCDA (Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis) subsystem
• GIS (Geographic Information System) subsystem
• Tools for integrating models and DECERNS WebSDSS
• Development of the case studies, models for risk analysis, and databases and digital maps for the specific areas
• Implementation of the DECERNS WebSDSS and its components for practical needs, training and education, and commercial applications and selling
